The storyline
It was already a long hot summer. The thirties in the States, you see. The prohibition reaching its culminating point, the economic crisis settled in, and not a single cloud in the sky. One would think that everybody would just try to take care of themselves and be happy. It would be enough to find a cool spot, sip ginger ale, throw a few ice cubes into the glass and watch the birdies chirp.
But not them. They just couldn't sit around their place somewhere in Chicago, drive fast cars, distill booze illegally, shoot someone down now and then, bury someone, and then shoot someone dead again. And they just couldn't come up with anything better than taking interest in one small, forlorn and in fact totally unimportant casino somewhere far in the coutryside. Yet a mistake enters unnoticed...
And so, while messieurs Soft and Rock, two second-class gangsters with the manners of rugby substitutes and the intelligence of somewhat educated gorillas try to establish an atmosphere of fear and reckless terror, and while at the Blind Kid's smoke gets thicker and meat simmers, somewhere in a corner of the local jail a prisoner is lying on the berth. At the moment he's slumbering, but very soon he is going to become angry. Very angry, indeed. And so this slip that began by expropriation of the small, unimportant casino, is slowly evolving into a bigger mistake, a fatal one. And that for messieurs Soft, Rock, their buddies and for many others. All because the person lying on the wooden berth is called Johnny. Johnny Majer.
The Game

So the player progresses through a number of action scenarios, some complicated logical problems and even more complicated and largely irrational ones. There's also climbing on roofs, falling down gorges, car chases, a wild tractor ride, shooting everything that moves, searching for things long forgotten, coming up with questions, finding answers, and finding one's way through mazes. But most importantly...
